Wear it Wild

Wear it Wild

It's time to get fierce

Wear it Wild is WWF’s schools fundraising event.

In schools across the country, students (and teachers) will be wearing an item of wildlife-inspired fancy dress to raise funds, raise awareness and have grrrrrreat fun too!

Go big with a full costume, or small with a mask.

The funds raised will help protect our amazing world and it’s wildlife.

If we’re going to save our world, we need to be fiercer, braver and louder than we’ve ever been before.

Is your school ready for the challenge?!

Why your school should Wear it Wild

Nature is declining at an alarming rate. WWF’s Living Planet Report shows that our planets wildlife populations have plummeted by 69% since 1970.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, 94% of our reptile species, 82% of bird species, 80% of bat species, 76% of freshwater fish species, and 22% of marine mammal species are either facing extinction or are at risk of being threatened with extinction.

We’re all in a race to bring our world back to life. And it’s a race we can still win.

You can help, by organising a memorable event that everyone can enjoy whilst learning about our planet and amazing wildlife.
